This policy explains what we collect when you browse this site or stay with us, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
1. Who controls your data

2. What we collect
Booking details (name, email, phone, dates, party size, and any accessibility or arrival notes you send). Payment information handled by our payment provider — we receive confirmation and the last four digits, never the full card number. Identity verification where a building or local law requires it. Messages you send us. Basic technical data (IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed) to keep the site working and secure.
3. Why we use it
To take and manage your booking; to give you access to the residence and building; to answer messages; to meet legal, tax and municipal registration obligations; to prevent fraud and protect the property; and to improve the site.
4. Legal bases
Performing our contract with you, complying with legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in operating and securing the business. Where consent is required (for example, marketing email), we ask first and you can withdraw it at any time.
5. Who we share it with
Our property management platform (Guesty) which runs bookings, messaging and calendars; our payment provider; building management and access-control providers where required to let you in; cleaning and maintenance partners, who receive only what they need; and authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
6. International transfers
We operate in the United States and in Ontario, Canada. Where data moves between them it is protected by appropriate safeguards.
7. How long we keep it
Booking records for as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes, typically seven years. Enquiries that don't become bookings, up to 24 months. Technical logs, up to 12 months.
8. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to certain uses, or ask us to restrict processing. Residents of California, Colorado and other US states with privacy laws have specific rights including access, deletion, correction and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Residents of Canada have equivalent rights under PIPEDA. We respond within the time the applicable law allows.
9. Cookies
This site uses only what it needs to function. We do not run advertising trackers on it.
10. Security
Access to booking data is restricted to staff who need it. Payment data is handled by our payment provider under their security standards.
11. Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
12. Changes
We will post any update here with a new date.
